Christoph is driven by enabling software teams in scale-ups as well as large enterprises to deliver software with the same speed, confidence, and quality as the leading digital pure players. A central element of this is Internal Development Platforms (IDPs), which enable self-service for software developers and significantly reduce cognitive load. That’s why Christoph cofounded Humanitec where he is currently working as COO. While Humanitec will still need some time to grow into a scale-up, Christoph has a lot of experience with enabling software teams in large setups. He helped a number of companies and teams to redefine their approach to software development while working for McKinsey & Company. He also established and managed a new business unit for XING with cross-functional teams spread across various locations in Europe. Christoph studied mechanical engineering at TU Braunschweig, University of Waterloo, and MIT. He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from TU Braunschweig.
